Green cardamom, known in Hindi as Chhoti Elaichi, is the whole seed pod of the Elettaria cardamomum plant — a triangular, papery-shelled pod enclosing small aromatic black seeds.
Usage: Used whole (crushed or left intact) in tea (chai), sweets and rich gravies, valued for its strong, perfumed aroma.
Ritual context: Whole green cardamom is also commonly kept as a pooja essential and placed on the pooja thali as an offering item in Hindu rituals.
Available in 5gm, 10gm, 50gm, 100gm and 250gm packs, packed in-house at Chaurasia Store.
